Carol Dweck, author of Mindset, offers the following advice: ” If parents want to give their children a gift, the best thing they can do is to teach their children to love challenges, be intrigued by mistakes, enjoy effort, and keep on learning. That way, their children don’t have to be slaves of praise. They will have a lifelong way to build and repair their own confidence.”
Tomorrow, Tuesday, December 20th, a pink Registration Form will be distributed to all MMS students in their Advisory. Twenty-five free after school activities are available for our students. The session runs for 8 weeks from Monday, January 9th until Thursday, March 9th. Activities run from 2:50 to 3:50 once a week. Late buses are provided at 4:00 p.m.
Please be on the lookout for the pink Registration Form that provides specific details concerning each of the activities. If you have any questions contact our After School Activities Coordinator, Mrs. Wright, at email@example.com.
In order to be sure space is available in the activity of your choice, please return the completed form by this Thursday, December 22nd. A parent signature is required.
